Must hold a valid Sentinel Track Safety Card and meet the requirements of NR/L2/CTM/021 - competence and Training in Track Safety.
Must meet the medical requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Fitness Medical Requirements for levels 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Must meet the requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/00120 (Drugs & Alcohol).
It is the responsibility of the delegates' Local Manager to decide upon their sustainability to attend this course, and to check they are not subject to current Sentinel Investigation in accordance with the current issue of NR/L2/CTM/021- Competence and Training in Track Safety.
Must hold valid and current COSS certification and is not undergoing mentoring.
Have proof COSS competence, taking line blockages has been practised as requested by the current issue of NR/L2/CTM/021 - Must provide evidence of a minimum of 2 COSS trackside shifts/practices in the previous 12 months, and that it has been recorded in the individual’s Online Sentinel Logbook. Physical work experience logbooks (Blue book) can be accepted only if the shift/practice evidence was entered prior to December 6th, 2025, and each shift must be countersigned by the Line Manager. No other form of competence usage is acceptable.

Results
Results for the PCInitial competencies will be uploaded onto your Sentinel card/profile within 24 hours on successful completion of the event. Should there be any complication in uploading the competencies, we will endeavour to resolve the matter within 5 working days.
Cancellation
Where clients cancel courses within 14 days’ notice, the full fee will apply. If a candidate fails to attend at the appointed time and place or fails to bring with them the specified documentation stated in the joining instructions as required for their course/assessment, the full fee will apply. If a booking is made within 14 days of the event, the booking cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Same day bookings will be charged in advance of attendance and cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. Candidates must ensure that they can attend the scheduled event before finalising their booking.
Tec Training (GB) Ltd will endeavour to run all advertised and programmed events. However due to unforeseen circumstances it may be necessary to reschedule or cancel a particular event. In such cases, Tec Training (GB) Ltd will not accept any consequential liability irrespective of notice given.
