Requirements

  • Must be a minimum age of 18 
  • Must hold a valid Sentinel Track Safety Card endorsed with PTS and meet the requirements of NR/L2/CTM/021 – Competence and Training in Track Safety. 
  • Must meet the minimum medical requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Medical Fitness Level 3. 
  • Must meet the requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 (Drugs & Alcohol). 
  • They cannot attend if their Sentinel Card is endorsed; they must be eligible to work alone.  
  • It is the responsibility of delegates’ Local Manager to decide upon their suitability to attend this course, in accordance with the current issue of NR/L2/CTM/021 – Competence and Training in Track Safety. 
  • Must have a mandatory 12 twelve (12) hour rest period before the course as per the rules on Working Time Regulations (1998) and Network Rail Standards NR/L2/OHS/003.

Results

Results for the Site Warden initial competence will be uploaded onto your Sentinel card/profile within 24 hours on successful completion of the event. Should there be any complication in uploading the competence, we will endeavour to resolve the matter within 5 working days.

Cancellation

Where clients cancel courses within 14 days’ notice, the full fee will apply. If a candidate fails to attend at the appointed time and place or fails to bring with them the specified documentation stated in the joining instructions as required for their course/assessment, the full fee will apply. If a booking is made within 14 days of the event, the booking cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Same day bookings will be charged in advance of attendance and cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. Candidates must ensure that they can attend the scheduled event before finalising their booking.  

Tec Training (GB) Ltd will endeavour to run all advertised and programmed events. However due to unforeseen circumstances it may be necessary to reschedule or cancel a particular event. In such cases, Tec Training (GB) Ltd will not accept any consequential liability irrespective of notice given.
