Learners must be 16+ and bring along valid ID (Passport, Driving license or ID card) and must bring 1 Passport size picture along with National insurance and Proof of address.

It is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) as the standard training for all supervisors working on UKCG sites and provides an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. It highlights legal responsibilities and the need to promote health and safety to supervise effectively.
This course is designed for those people who work in construction and want to advance their career and qualifications and becomes responsible for supervising a working taskforce.
At the end of course, learners should understand and be able to demonstrate the responsibilities of the supervisor in controlling health and safety on site and how to carry out their duties.
Candidates will be continuously assessed during the course via the trainer through individual and group work. Candidates will also sit a multiple-choice test at the end of the course and results will be available within 3-5 days of sitting the course. Successful candidates will be awarded SSSTS certificates.
